Purbita obtained her MS in Biotechnology from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, where she studied a novel histone chaperone implicated in SIDDT syndrome.
Purbita joined the Banaszynski Lab in 2020. She is interested in chromatin regulation of endogenous retroelements.
