ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

Weizhi obtained his PhD in Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology with Dr. Hongquan Zhang at Peking University, where he studied the role of transcription factor acylation in lung adenocarcinoma. He then completed postdoctoral training with Dr. Guo-Min Li at UTSW, where he studied mismatch repair-mediated DNA damage response.

Weizhi joined the Banaszynski and Solmonson Labs in 2024. He is interested in the role that metabolism plays in developmental genome regulation.
