POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW

Xin obtained his PhD in Biochemistry and Microbiology with Dr. Jan Martin van Dijl at the University of Groningen, where he studied Staphylococcus aureus host-pathogen interaction. He then completed postdoctoral training with Drs. Cheng-Ming Chiang and Guo-Min Li at UTSW, where he studied the role of BRD4 phosphorylation in transcription and mismatch repair-mediated DNA damage response.

Xin joined the Banaszynski Lab in 2023. He is interested in chromatin biology in the context of development and cancer.
